Gemma Winery
Gemma
Founded in 1978 by Silvano Piacentini and now run by his son, Luigi Piacentini, Gemma is one of the most authentic and appreciated producers of fine wines in the Langhe. The winery is located in Serralunga d’Alba, in the heart of the Barolo region.
Production Philosophy: Authentic Identity and Elegance
Gemma highlights the unique character of its grapes and its strong connection with the Langhe, creating wines distinguished by elegance, balance, and authenticity. Each bottle stems from respect for the vineyard and a continuous pursuit of quality. Vineyards extend across Alba, La Morra, Monforte d’Alba, Roddi, Roddino, Serralunga d’Alba, and Sinio: iconic areas of Piedmont, home to Nebbiolo, Barbera, Moscato, and Arneis grapes.
Langhe Wines and Pairings
Gemma wines are designed to enhance every pairing: Langhe reds pair perfectly with rich dishes, red meats, grills, and braised dishes; Piedmontese whites are excellent as an aperitif or with fish and white meats; while Moscato d’Asti is ideal for desserts and celebrations. With Gemma, the Piacentini family continues a tradition of history, passion, and innovation, offering authentic, unique, and sustainable wines.
