Vinification
The carefully selected grapes are left to dry in well-ventilated drying rooms for 3–4 months. After crushing, the must is vinified with 15–20 days of skin maceration at a temperature of 23–25°C.
Aging
At the end of winemaking, the wine is aged for 36 months in Slavonian oak barrels and then further aged for 6 months in the bottle before release.
Grape Variety
68% Corvina, 24% Corvinone, 8% Rondinella
Appearance
Intense and deep ruby-garnet red in colour.
Nose
Aromas of ripe fruit and jam, complemented by fresh notes of candied citrus peel and an elegant hint of aromatic herbs.
Taste
On the palate, it is warm, rich, and structured, again marked by a seductive fruity character that extends into a very long finish.
