Silvano Piacentini

Silvano Piacentini

Founded from the intuition and passion of Silvano Piacentini, the winery is today an icon of Valpolicella and its enological excellence. The Silvano Piacentini wine line tells a story of tradition, territory, and the pursuit of perfection, with a deep connection between family and vineyard.

It all began in 1961 when Silvano Piacentini took his first steps into the world of wine. After years of experience in selection, import, and distribution of fine Italian and international wines, he decided to put his name on the labels of the best wines produced in the Veronese hills. A choice that confirmed his expertise and vision, making Silvano Piacentini a brand synonymous with quality and authenticity.

Production Philosophy: A Legacy That Continues

Every bottle arises from profound respect for the land and its fruits. The winery is committed to preserving the native varieties of Valpolicella and surrounding areas, enhancing them with a style that combines elegance and intensity. Here, it’s not just about wine, but a family and cultural legacy carried on with passion.

The Silvano Piacentini name is not just a winery but represents a true vision of wine: careful selection, respect for the territory, and love passed down through generations. A brand that continues to represent Valpolicella worldwide, staying true to the values that defined its success.

The great wines of Valpolicella

The great Valpolicella wines of Silvano Piacentini represent some of the region’s most iconic labels. Amarone della Valpolicella DOCG stands out for its intensity and majesty, while Valpolicella Ripasso Superiore DOC is characterized by elegance and complexity. The Classico DOC and Riserva DOC versions offer an authentic expression of local tradition. Completing the range are the white wines Soave Classico DOC and Lugana DOC, known for their freshness and minerality.
